This teaspoon is made by Yayanagi, a company that has been making birch crafts in Kakunodate, Senboku City, Akita Prefecture since 1876.
Kabazaiku is a unique craft in the world that uses wild cherry tree bark, and is a precious product that is only made in Kakunodate, Japan. The more you use it, the deeper the color and luster will become, and you can enjoy the changes that occur over time. Wild cherry bark has moisture-retaining and antibacterial properties .
The wild cherry bark has been carefully polished by artisans, giving it a beautiful natural luster, and when you hold it in your hand you can feel the natural warmth of the wood.
