Collection: Yamanaka Lacquerware Collection
Yamanaka lacquerware is said to have originated approximately 450 years ago (during the Azuchi-Momoyama period).
From the early Edo period (1600s), skilled craftsmen were invited from all over the country to introduce new techniques.
Various techniques were developed, such as vermilion lacquering, spinning top lacquering, and colored lacquerware, and these skills are still passed down to the present day.
We have collected beautiful Yamanaka lacquerware.
