This matcha bowl is characterized by its round, graceful shape and delicate painting on top of a soft-colored glaze.
This matcha bowl is the work of Yagi Kaiho, a traditional craftsman of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki.
This snow sparrow depicts sparrows huddled together on a branch in the falling snow. In winter, sparrows turn into their winter feathers to protect themselves from the cold, giving them a round, puffy appearance, hence the name "lucky sparrow", and because of this appearance, they are considered to be auspicious creatures that bring good fortune. You can enjoy delicious matcha while taking in the stillness and clear air of winter.
We also have other matcha bowls that allow you to experience the four seasons of Japan, so please take a look. →Here
