This Edo Kiriko sake glass features a softly glowing red glass, illuminated by a charming pattern called “Tsunagaru Kodama”—a series of small, connected dots that wrap gently around the surface.
Created by glass artist Junko Yoshida, the design blends the precision of traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a warm, rhythmic aesthetic that subtly echoes Scandinavian design.

Some of the dots are crafted using a delicate blurred-color technique, where the red glass melts into soft gradations. These subtle variations create a rich, expressive character that shifts beautifully with the light.
The repeating dot pattern has a gentle, textile-like rhythm reminiscent of Nordic motifs—simple, playful, and quietly uplifting.

Perfect for chilled sake, this glass also works beautifully for aperitifs, small servings of juice, or even as a petite dessert cup.
Its deep red transparency and sparkling cutwork bring a graceful accent to any table setting.

Pairing it with the matching “Tsunagaru Kodama” sake pourer creates a cohesive and elegant set, ideal for special occasions or as a thoughtful gift.

A harmonious blend of Japanese tradition and Scandinavian-inspired softness, this Edo Kiriko glass by Junko Yoshida brings warmth, charm, and a touch of playfulness to everyday moments.
